Chris Pratt stated that he felt as if his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, was ‘a very good actress’ and that he had ‘asked’ her to appear on screen with him in a new interview.

The 44-year-old performer and the 34-year-old author – who were recently spotted in each other’s company at a premiere event – have been married ever since 2019, and he has attempted to sway her into starting a career in the entertainment industry.

The star of the Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise told People: ‘I’ve asked her. I think she could be great. Because she’s actually a very good actress.’

Pratt went on to speak about Schwarzenegger’s talent for impersonating others and expressed that he was impressed by her performing abilities.

‘When she’s doing impressions and I’m like, ‘You’re really good.’ And she’s like, ‘No way. I could never do it. I would laugh too much,” he said.

He made the comments while appearing on the orange carpet at The Garfield Movie premiere in Los Angeles

The performer then admitted that his wife had a tendency to begin laughing and not stop for an extended period of time.

He stated that, if she were to ever find anything humorous while working on a film set, ‘she’d probably laugh through the take and ruin it.’

Pratt and Schwarzenegger were first linked in 2018, when they were spotted in each other’s company while stepping out in Santa Barbara, California.

The actor was formerly married to Anna Faris, whom he met while working on the set of the 2011 feature Take Me Home Tonight.

The performers tied the knot in 2009 and went on to welcome a son named Jack, 11, in 2012, although they ultimately divorced in 2018.

Pratt eventually moved on with Schwarzenegger, and they became engaged in January 2019 before tying the knot in June of that year.

The happy couple went on to welcome a daughter named Lyla, three, in 2020, and they brought another daughter named Eloise, one, into their family in 2022.

The Parks And Recreation star recently spoke to E! News and spoke about the ‘big difference’ between his daughters and his sons.

Pratt stated: ‘I hate to make generalizations based on gender but, in my experience, girls are more emotional. They’ve got me wrapped around their finger. It’s wild.’

The performer also expressed that his daughters ‘take after their mother, who is incredibly organized.’

The actor added, however, that he was fully aware of how each of his girls had their own distinct personalities.

‘Even the differences between my two daughters just goes to show that every child is a little bit different,’ he stated.
