Many football fans dread the day when Cristiano Ronaldo will hang up his boots and retire from professional football. Some even believed that he would’ve already retired by now, but he continues to perform on the pitch and is the crucial player for Al Nassr. According to some reports in Portugal, Ronaldo may have already started considering his retirement after buying an incredible mansion for himself and his family. CR7 is building an incredible mansion worth around $22 million in Lisbon, Portugal. The Portuguese star bought a home in Cascais in 2022 for $11 million, but with the added touches, it will become the most expensive house in all of Portugal.
The house will have four floors, four luxury suites, a cinema, a gym, a tennis court, and two garages for 20 cars. The Portuguese star is currently enjoying life in Saudi Arabia, with luxuries there as well, but once his time at Al Nassr is up, he will retire and live in Portugal again, his home country where he has been for a large period of time since 2003 when he was playing with Sporting CP. Ronaldo ended up in England with Manchester United, Spain with Real Madrid, and Italy with Juventus.
Ronaldo’s contract with Al Nassr expires in the summer of 2025, and with rumors suggesting that the Portuguese striker is unhappy with the Saudi Pro League, CR7 may consider joining another league or potentially play in Portugal for Sporting Lisbon, where it all started. Al Nassr may also consider offering Ronaldo a new contract for an extra year or two due to his performances this season. Ronaldo has made a total of 42 appearances in all competitions with Al Nassr this season. CR7 scored 42 goals and provided 13 assists this season in all competitions.
Ronaldo and Al Nassr’s next match in Saudi Arabia
After the 1-1 draw between Al Nassr and Al Hilal in the Saudi Pro League, Ronaldo’s team has two more league games left before the end of the season. Al Nassr will play away from home against Al Riyadh this Thursday, and their last league game will be at home at Al Awal Park against Al Ittihad on May 27th. Their last game of the season is the King’s Cup Final against Al Hilal on May 31st.
