Cristiano Ronaldo is set to play a crucial and competitive match for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League as they will take on Al Hilal on Friday at Al Awal Park. Before the match even commenced, Saudi Arabia once again bothered CR7, and the Doping Committee summoned Cristiano Ronaldo for a doping test days before the match. Many Al Nassr fans are furious about this doping test since it seems very random, and the request happens just before an Al Hilal match, in which their unbeaten record is what is at stake. Ronaldo, along with a few other players in Al Nassr, is expected to take the doping test.

Al Hilal won the Saudi Pro League last weekend, defeating Al Hazem 4-1. The Saudi Arabian league champions are still undefeated in the league after 31 games played. They are on 89 points as they won 29 games and lost two. Al Hilal beat Al Nassr in the last two competitive matches, and in the last game, they eliminated them in the Saudi Super Cup semifinal.
One request that Al Nassr wanted for the match against Al Hilal is a neutral referee, not from Saudi Arabia. Ronaldo’s team may believe that there is favoritism for Al Hilal since they have had many penalties this season and none against them. Reports in Saudi Arabia suggest that Jose Martinez from Spain was appointed as the referee for Friday’s game between Al Nassr and Al Hilal. This will be the third match this season and the second Saudi Pro League game between the two teams.
The cup final between Al Nassr and Al Hilal
The game on Friday in the Saudi Pro League won’t be the last game between Al Nassr and Al Hilal this season. The two teams advanced to the King’s Cup Final, and they will play for another trophy since they both faced each other in the Arab Club Champions Cup Final earlier in the season, where Ronaldo scored a brace in the 2-1 win over Al Hilal. Al Hilal could win their third trophy of the season while Al Nassr could win their second.
